- "Nantsune" became the registered trademark of Nantsune brand products. The company was known as Nantsune Works for its unique cutting flavor. Inspired by Netherlands Berkel ham and bacon cutting machines, the company
created Japan's first meat cutting machine and started manufacturing and selling it.

- The name of the Nantsune Works was changed to the Nantsune Machinery Works due to business expansion.

- Nichijo Minami was succeeded as the company president by his eldest son, Tsuneo Minami, where he established the company under the name, "Nantsune Iron Works Co., Ltd."

- Started manufacturing and selling ham cutters, mince machines, and household dish machines.

- Started manufacturing and selling ham and sausage processing machines, and introduced meat cutting machines with "roller system" technology which became best seller later on.

- Started the construction of the current plant in Fujidera City as part of the plant expansion effort.

- Tsuneo Minami was honored with the prestigious Osaka Prefecture Governor Award (Industry Performance Award).

- Established Beijing Nantsune Meat Machinery Joint Venture Co., Ltd. in China under joint management with Beijing City.

- Tsuneo Minami received the prestigious Director-General's Award for Machinery and Information Industry Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry. Started manufacturing and selling chop cutters.

- Kojiro Minami succeeded his father as the company's third president. Tsuneo Minami became the Chairman.

- Chairman Tsuneo Minami received the Medal with Blue Ribbon.

- 1998
- Tsuneo Minami received the Imperial Order of the Sacred Treasure, with Gold Rays and Rosette, in highest acknowledgement of his widespread service and contribution to the industry.

- Established Nantsune Korea Co., Ltd. under joint management with Young Dong Tech in Korea.

- Beijing Nantsune relocated and built a new factory to expand business. Acquired ISO9001 certification.

- Changed the company name from "Nantsune Iron Works Co., Ltd." to "Nantsune Co., Ltd."

- Kojiro Minami retired and Tsuneyuki Minami succeeded his father as the company's forth president.

- Beijing Nantsune acquired shares from the Chinese joint venture and became a wholly owned subsidiary. Renewed corporate logo.
